Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the World Stroke Organization, we are pleased to invite you to the 18th World Stroke Congress (WSC), to be held October 21–23, 2026, in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
The 18th World Stroke Congress will be held as a joint meeting with the International Conference Stroke Update, in collaboration with the Korean Stroke Society. This integrated scientific event will bring together global and regional expertise, creating a strong platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration across the full spectrum of stroke research and care.
The scientific program will feature cutting-edge research, late-breaking clinical trials, and in-depth discussions on advances in stroke prevention, acute treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation. Leading researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and people with lived experience will come together to address current challenges and future directions in stroke care, with a strong emphasis on innovation, implementation, and global impact.
The congress will continue the World Stroke Organization’s commitment to fostering international collaboration, advocacy, diversity, equity, and inclusion, while supporting the next generation of stroke leaders through dedicated opportunities for early career investigators, mentorship, and professional development.
We look forward to welcoming you to the 18th World Stroke Congress for a high-impact scientific meeting that will help shape the future of stroke research and care worldwide.
With warm regards,
Dr. Jeyaraj Pandian, Dr. Luciano Sposato & Dr. Keun-Sik Hong,
